Greater Loudoun Babe Ruth Leagues offer instructional and recreational opportunities for all players. Players and teams are chosen by a try-out and draft process. The regular spring season concludes with a GLBR End-of-Season Tournament. Players meeting the requirements for post-season play may try out for the League's District Teams which compete at the District, State, Regional and (National) World Series levels.
Greater Loudoun Babe Ruth Leagues offer instructional and recreational opportunities for all players. The regular fall season operates with an instructional and developmental focus for both players and coaches. Players new to Babe Ruth and the larger 60-90 fields learn the skills and prepare themselves for the Spring season. The age limits are set to the new age groupings for the next Spring season. Players age groups are determined by their age as of May 1st of each year. Teams are assigned based on geographic areas; there is no try-out and draft process.
